Welcome to the PotSW!

Never fear, the old-style PotSW home is still around as I migrate content over here.

Feel free to post comments to articles below, or in the Forums. Show off your wit and creativity by writing concert and album reviews! And web sites, and files (pictures, music) for downloading are all welcome.

The PotSW mailing list is not going away. But with your help, I'll try to keep the web site more up-to-date as well. Comments are always welcome. Just send me Feedback, or email me. As always, thanks for the encouragement, and Carry on!

General News Looks like we're back

Wow, that was fun. I had a catastrophic disk failure which took out not only the main PotSW site, but also a whole bunch of other stuff. This happened while I was just about to leave on a business trip, followed immediately by a family vacation, so I didn't have much time to work on it. (More...)

Concerts and Events Wheatheads on YouTube!

Bill D. just posted this link to the mailing list. It's the Traveling Wheatheads performing "Child of Innocence" from WF9 last year. Turns out there are a lot of these clips up there. It's fun if (like me), you've never been able to make it to a WheatFest.

  Alumni News Proto-Kaw info

Here's some overdue props to Proto-Kaw, Kerry's former and present band. Their new album, "Wait of Glory" came out around the beginning of this year, and they're booking concert dates right now for the 2006 'Worth the Wait Tour' (email Dutch Dehnert at Dutch Management to book a gig).

General News Great Interview with Phil Ehart

Classic Rock Revisited has a terrific interview with Phil Ehart online. It's a terrific interview, and for those of you (and there are many) who are still wondering, it sheds a great deal of light on the reasons and wherefors of both Robby's departure and David's return. Go read it!

General News New band lineup, new site, new tour

As many of you already know (it was the topic of lively discussion on the PotSW mailing list), Robby Steinhardt and Kansas have gone separate ways after a terrific decade or so of music.

Concerts and Events Kansas to play in Sweden

Looks like Kansas is going across the pond for the first time in several years. The Sweden Rock Festival, scheduled for June 9-11, 2005, features a host of bands in a very strange combination - Accept, Kansas, Styx, and Dio are the first four listed. Should be a wild and woolly show.
