I'm the world's worst artist, so I'm just going to use crude ASCII
art along with text descriptions to describe my t-shirt design.  If
my design wins, hopefully a real artist on the list can draw it for
real.

On the front, a small logo in the upper left chest area, just an 
outline of the state of Kansas with the letters POTSW inside.

The back is a good bit more complex.  A large outline of the state of 
Kansas, with the words "Good evening and welcome to KANSAS!" inside.
On the left of the state outline is a violin, with a guitar to the 
right of the outline.  Above the state outline are the lines "The 
People of the South Wind" and "THE mailing list for Kansas fans".  
Below the state outline are the mailing address and web page address.
