To subscribe, send mail to majordomo@potsw.org (Majordomo list manager) with this line in the body of the message:

subscribe kansas

Please note - you MUST turn off "HTML markeup" or "rich-text format" for messages that you send to majordomo. It can't handle all the markup garbage that gets inserted into messages that are sent as anything other than plain text. If you've followed the instructions above and got an error back from majordomo, then this is almost certainly the reason.

While I'm at it, let me just say that you should never send messages in this format to any recipient (particularly not a mailing list or an automated attendant) without first making certain that they can view it properly. If you don't know how to turn this off, contact your ISP or sysadmin for help (not me). Note that there are many mailers that can do this right, including great free ones like Pegasus and Eudora Lite.

To get off the list, use the same recommands and format as above, but write:
