Jeremy forwarded this on the PotSW mailing list the other day. Phil Ehart will be guest lecturing at Syracuse University on March 18, 2008.
His first lecture, from 3:30-4:45, will be "largely anecdotal, placing Kansas in historical perspective. It is part of the "History of Rock" course taught by Theo Cateforis, assistant professor of music history and cultures in The College of Arts and Sciences".
His second lecture will be from 6:45-8 pm, and will focus on the business side of the group.
Both lectures are free and open to the public, though seating (and parking) are limited. I''''d love to hear these, and I''''ve emailed the Syracuse contact in the article to see whether the lectures will be avialable via the web afterwards. Let''''s hope.
